Armed Forces Day Concert

To mark Armed Forces Day 2025 and celebrate the 80th Anniversary of the Central Band of the Royal British Legion, a commemorative concert will take place at St Nicholas Church, Sevenoaks on Saturday 28th June at 7:00 PM.
Presented by HD Production and the Central Band of the Royal British Legion, with support from Sevenoaks Town Council, the evening promises a moving and memorable tribute to the service and sacrifice of the UK’s Armed Forces.
The concert will be conducted by Captain David Cole, former Director of Music on Her Majesty’s Yacht Britannia, whose dynamic leadership continues to shape the band’s reputation for musical excellence.
Recognised as one of the UK’s premier military-style concert bands, the Central Band is renowned for its high-level performances at national commemorative events, royal occasions, and public concerts. From stirring marches to evocative reflective pieces, the band’s repertoire spans tradition and innovation, always delivered with exceptional precision and passion.
