Autumn Foraging Walk

Grab your walking boots for a guided walk around the Bore Place estate, learning to spot edible wild plants and tasting as you go. Foraging is an ancient skill which is becoming increasingly popular as a way to incorporate more fresh sustainable food into our diets and reconnect with nature at the same time. As summer fades and autumn takes over, you’ll be looking out for fungi, fruits, berries and nuts – you will be amazed at all the wonderful wild flavours and your guide will share ideas for different ways to enjoy them!

Your guide, Gemma Hindi, will share identification tips, ideas for how to prepare and enjoy wild ingredients in your kitchen, and guidance on harvesting safely and sustainably. She will also bring along a prepared, foraged drink and snack for you to try!
